About the Business
Established in Barnard Castle for over 70 years, Castle Vets has evolved from a traditional Dales practice into three speciality areas, focusing on Equines, Farm Animals and Pets thereby remaining capable of dealing with virtually everything the domestic animal world presents.
In 1997 we moved to our purpose-built premises in Harmire Enterprise Park, where we enjoy excellent access for our clients, including parking and turning for even very large equine transporters.
Our branch surgery at St Helen Auckland was refurbished internally in 2007 to provide additional surgical and kennelling facilities. This enables us to offer a wide range of procedures that do not require overnight or prolonged hospitalisation, enhancing our support for the local pet community.
