About the Business
Kenwyn Veterinary Centre is located on Kenwyn Hill, on the outskirts of Truro and covers most of the mid Cornwall area from St Austell to Helston and from St Mawes to Porthtowan. The practice was established in 1991 from Highertown Vets, and has taken on the large animal work from other practices since. We have a team of dedicated farm and equine veterinary surgeons all of whom have additional areas of interest and have strong ties with the farm or horse community.
Whilst the majority of our work is carried out on farm or at stables, we have on site hospitalisation and surgical facilities for the more complex investigations and treatments, and the ability to examine and treat animals at the clinic rather than visit should it be preferred. We have grazing paddocks, loose boxes, stables, and pens and secure loading areas.
On the Farm side we cover all farm animals such as dairy and beef cattle, sheep, goats, pigs and camelids.
