About the Business
In September of 2004 Pool House Veterinary Group acquired the farm and the surrounding 12 acres of land. After receiving planning consent from Lichfield District Council work commenced in the October to create a modern clinic dedicated exclusively to the care of horses. There is stabling for up to 15 horses. We have a small in house laboratory. The equine veterinary team consists of thirteen full time vets. We have a European Diplomat in Equine Surgery who is in charge of the surgical and fertility services.
One of our vets is also a qualified member of BAEDT and holds the new RCVS Cert AVP in Equine Dentistry. Two of our vets are RCVS recognised adavanced practitioners. We have a completely transparent charging scheme. We do not offer ‘free' visits and then make up the fee with hidden charges elsewhere. You will receive a fully itemised bill and a copy of any clinical notes at the end of each month.
