About the Business
We all keep pets ourselves so we will treat your pets as if they were our own.
Veterinary Surgeon Martin Atkinson qualified from Liverpool University in 1975 and spent the first four years gaining experience in general practice in various parts of the country. He settled at his present surgery in West Drayton and worked for the previous owner before taking over on his own in 1981. The surgery was extensively enlarged and modernised in 1986 and renamed St Martins Veterinary Clinic after the local parish - an image of a church appears in the practice logo to signify this link.
Mr Atkinson is happy to see all pet species but has gained a special reputation for the treatment of cats and has pioneered several novel treatment protocols in feline medicine. Mr Atkinson has also pioneered the use of Interferons in the treatment of viral disease in cats in the UK and is a leading authority on this subject.
